3 Valleys Day Trip From Marrakesh
Overview
One of the most enchanting destinations for a pleasure trip is the High Atlas Mountains. The day begins with a morning departure from the city, returning in the evening, promising a remarkable journey filled with captivating places and encounters with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of breathtaking locations, including the Agafay Desert, Atlas Mountains, Atlas Waterfalls, Imlil Valley, Asni Valley, and Amizmiz Valley. You’ll also visit 7 Berber Villages, spending quality time with a Berber family to learn about their lifestyle, and witnessing the mesmerizing views of the waterfalls.
This journey also includes a camel ride and a visit to an Argan cooperative. The tour begins at 9:00 AM, with the option of meeting you at your accommodation in Marrakech or at Restaurant Cafe de France in Jemaa El-Fnaa square if you are in the city center. The tour concludes at 5:00 PM.
The tour cost includes transportation, a guide, a camel ride, and tea with a Berber family. Lunch is not included but is optional. The tour starts with a walk through the valley to Armed (altitude 2000m). Mule transport is available if needed. Lunch will be served at a Berber house in the village, offering stunning views of Mt Toubkal and its sister peaks Agualzim, Adj, and Akhbo. If you’re interested, you can even try your hand at cooking Berber food! After lunch, we’ll stroll through a lush valley lined with ancient walnut trees, passing the Naqab waterfall before heading to Imlil to meet your driver. You’ll arrive at your accommodation around 5:00 PM.
